LEDiL workgroup awarded with The Finnish Engineering Award
On June 5, 2014 workgroup of Hannu Hukkanen, Tomi Kuntze, Petri Laukkanen, Pasi Vallevuori and Olli Laakkio has been awarded The Finnish Engineering Award for their notable work on the development of energy saving solid state lighting technology.
In their press release nominating committee emphasizes the key role this workgroup has had in the LEDiL’s progress to become industry leader on the secondary optics and the growth of the company’s expertise on free form optics.
The Finnish Engineering Award is a certificate of honor and monetary prize that has existed as an institution for more than three decades. The award is given out by Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland – TEK.
